Yeah, but he's a hero now (besides, technically that was Cranky Kong), it's the same reason I didn't include Wario.

... Was Wario ever a hero? I think even in WarioWare he's not actually doing anything heroic.

Wario Land. He was doing it for greedy reasons, doesn't mean he wasn't still the protagonist.

Being the Protagonist doesn't make you not a villain. There have been several protagonist villains in the past.
