No. That should be free

As demonstrated above you, the concept of free DLC does not exist in the mind of fanboys.

Free DLC that's completely original and took actual focused man hours to make? Of course not.

That's like going into a furniture store, buying a table and then demanding to get separate chairs for free.

What OP is suggesting is like going into a furniture store, buying a table for $500, then paying $250 for a tablecloth.

OK, that I get. For $30 it's just not worth it. But I wasn't talking about this topic specifically, just people who believe ALL DLC should be free.

Basically it was a minor misunderstanding.

Depending on how much DLC is put out and how costly the it is is, I'd be fine with a season pass. Not as TC has proposed, but the season pass in general is appealing to be sure.

People that hope for DLC make me sick. May as well stick a stick up your ass with no lube, because that's what game companies will do to you.

This. As I recall, the one Mortal Kombat had (or, atleast, the one the 360 version had) was pretty fair.

I'd like a rough idea of what DLC may be coming first... Don't wanna drop 20 bucks for Old Snake and a few alts.

If a pass was available, the characters were revealed, and the cost equated out to about 5 bucks a character, sure.

I'd have no problem spending $40-$50 for Crash, Spyro, a Chimera, Rayman, Isaac Clarke, Qwark, Nefarious, Murray, Bentley, independent versions of Clank and Daxter, and Wander.

I'd buy a season pass if it represented some kind of investment in DLC of the game, and by buying it you got a guarantee that 4 DLC characters would be released at some point and you'd get them as part of the season pass.

And then, if the game exceeds expectations, they'd roll out more DLC (for a total of 6) that would also be included in the season pass.

I think that's the point of the season passes - you pay a lot up front and if enough people do, then it justifies ensuing DLC and also sets a precedent that this game is going to keep providing you with characters/maps/etc.

If I haven't mentioned Kat in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.
