Does it really surprise you guys that they chose to make Polygon man a more cartoony bad guy? Have you been paying attention to the overall tone of the game?

I like having a smug final boss who isn't even close to being as powerful as he says he is. He has a helluva lot more personality than any Smash Bros boss.

Also, it's more rewarding to wipe that stupid asymetrical grin off his face before watching him explode.

Saying that its more rewarding to beat up Polygon Man because he's smug is a pretty lame excuse. Maybe if he had any sort of build up with that, if would be better. But whatever, opinions. Personally I'd prefer my bosses to actually be more than just reused assets, and not just the same stuff that's been fought already, but we can't all get what we want.
