Do you hope to see changes in the core mechanics of the game in the sequel?

mid-air supers

faster movements

two attack buttons. remove the useless moves. make Circle the throw button.

make Level 1, 2, and 3 mapped into Right Stick directions

make the mashups more interesting instead of "giant monster in background" for 90% of the stages

most importantly, more game modes. no one likes to do deathmatch-type games all day long. make other objective-based game modes fitting for a party brawler. take your pride as being "fighting game experts" elsewhere because if you're gonna force this game to be EVO-material, it's never gonna take off. look at Smash, never meant to be competitive yet players were the ones who made it competitive. don't go out there saying "it is competitive", let the gamers decide on that. even the most simplistic mechanics can be competitive.

I do agree aside from only 2 attack buttons. And yeah a strong playerbase could bring out the potential in all stars like the players did for smash in the end. I think this game has set a great foundation for a fully fleshed out and memorable sequel.
