roster or rooster whatever the word is, I feel that now a days any fighter whit less than 30 characters gets repetitive too son if you are playing with real friends at home, for example We all love Persona and feel that Persona 4 the arena is an amazing game but we get tired of it quickly and only play it for like 40 minutes and change to UMVC3, Mortal Kombat or Smash due to the fact P4A has only like 14 characters. --- If you believe in Goku and are 100% proud, put this in your sig.
It's rooster, and they'll have more characters as DLC. --- Jumping Flash!'s Robbit needs to be in Playstation All-Stars as DLC! Sign the petition for him here: http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/robbitfirstallstar
The first Super Smash Bros. only had 12 characters. The first Marvel vs. Capcom had 16 characters (21 if you count the recolors), and only eight of them were made from scratch for this game (the rest being pulled from past Street Fighters, X-men: Children of the Atom and Marvel Superheroes). The original Mortal Kombat only had 7 characters.
This is the first game in a series made by a brand new company. The fact that it has 20 characters out the gate with more coming as DLC (two of which have been confirmed as being free) puts it ahead of any of the series you just mentioned when they started out.
You have to put it all in perspective. --- ZeroBeat Do androids dream of electric boogaloo?
most DBZ games have 100 or more characters, but theyre mostly clones or with very slight differences. at least in PSASBR every character is unique and has a different playing style (aside from the 2 coles).
