Digital sales are still only a fraction of what retail sales are. Just goes on to show how insignificant the internet gaming forums are in regards to the games-purchasing consumers at large.

Looking at this chart:

http://dailyinfographic.com/video-games-digital-vs-retail-sales-infographic

At 2009, only 20% of sales was digital. In 2011: 31%

It also shown physical sales going down.

And even if it a fractions, that is still thousands of copies.

oh and did you also forget to look at the #2 slot, which was Hitman Absolution, a game that came out the same day as All-Stars, but is sitting next to CoD?

Actually Hitman came out Nov 20 in EU, All-Stars came out Nov 23

The Family Guy game came on the 23rd. Charted ahead of PSASBR. A game no one even knew existed.

So? I wasn't pointing out All-Stars didn't flop or anything. I was just correcting rumba that All-Stars didn't come out the same day as Hitman. Why do you have to point this out?

Why are you so fixated in making a point that it flopped? Insecurity at its finest.

We agree that this game flopped? Good.

Lol no. When did i ever say that? All I'm saying is that for no reason at all you have to make it a point the game flopped, even to a post that only corrects someone's post.

It depends on how you count it, really. Whether the "to the 24th" means it stops at the beginning of the 24th or if it goes until the end of the 24th

For the record, Sworder, the language "23rd to the 24th" would typically mean the beginning of the first day to the end of the second day, which would mean 48 hours.

This is still a f***ing stupid argument though. You're seriously sitting here judging the game's success on two days of sales. Really guys. The game's entire future depends on these two days... and two days in one country, no less.

Just sit down, shut up, and wait for real sales numbers before you can decide how successful it was.

Sony seems satisfied with its current sales figures for now at least, so there's no argument to be made that the game did "poorly" unless you use your own made-up benchmarks for success.

Oh wait, I'm talking to LuminescentRule, who does nothing BUT make up his own benchmarks for success and then gloat when the game doesn't meet them.

You're right, I was using my phone and couldn't really check. I thought the chart was released on the 24th, which would have made it impossible for them to have sales data on that day.

However, it was released on the 26th. But yes, I agree with what you're saying more or less.

Lumi, I'm arguing for the sake of arguing. Bored at the moment. I'm not really going to any extent to defend the sales of the game because, like I've said before, they mean nothing to me.

Once again, I don't know why people think this game has a Mass Effect budget behind it. It was obviously a bit of a gamble, and it obviously has a little less behind it. Plus, Sony doesn't give up on their IP's easily. If this gets close to a million, it'll likely be considered successful enough to expand upon.

And once again, this game shouldn't even be declared a success or a failure until around Feb of next year. Once we see what kind of legs a game like this has. Party games usually get most of thier sales from thies long legs.

*cue luminescentrule being an idiot telling me am an idiot for even considering something logical like this.*

And like I kept saying: Why put every single big-name in the first game and leave nothing to drive the sequel?

I get a good laugh out of watching Lumie... nothing better to do than actively message board post about a game he claims to not like but has obviously played a lot of.

Lumie... it must suck that this is your life lol
