If I remember correctly ratchet also keeps the last weapon you used out until you use anther one. No default pose. Just like in his games.

The same goes for Jak and Radec, they'll keep out whatever weapon they last used until they use another one.

Besides pretty much everything everyone else mentioned, I love how Spike's lv. 1 makes the same sound as catching a monkey in the first game.
