To be honest, he's kind of right. You might slowly build to your level 2 and juggle somewhat effectively but at the end of the day, if they air camp smartly, you're never hitting that level 1. This isn't an issue for Sackboy again for obvious reasons and Raiden's level 1 has a much bigger vertical hitbox plus his level 2 is much better as well. Same goes for Evil Cole.

That's another reason why I say they are better overall.

Ballerina Kicks has two different types of stun, and it hits differently on pretty much every character. Terrain also gets in the way of Ballerina Kicks connecting correctly. If you are saying that you can hit this combo consistently, then you have just lost all credibility in my eyes.

I can land 1 loop pretty consistently, and 2 loops in the corner. 2 Loops midscreen is definitely hard.


But in any case, whether I can do it personally or not has no impact on FP's tier placement. The combo does work and it's a tool she has available to her.

Well it depends on how hard it is to do Tero. If it's so hard and so situatonal (only working at very specific stages, range, distance etc.) then yeah, it's probably not enough because then it just becomes impractical most of the time.

I do believe FP is irefutably top 5 though. Just not number 1.

It doesn't seem particularly range or stage dependent. The timing is just quite tight. But the more I practiced it the better my accuracy was getting.


I find it to be comparable in difficulty to some other combos, like:

Raiden:
>[], /\, [], v(), ^[] (hold), [], [], [], [], []


Sweet Tooth:
(air) [], v[], v(), (move forward), ^(), (jump) >/\


Both of those require pretty tight timing on some of the hits or they will drop.

It's not about timing. The Ballerina Kicks do not work the same way every time unless you hit EXACTLY the same way every time.

This is all moot because the Butt Slam loop is soo easy.

In that case, the counter to FP may be Nariko.
Her up triangle allows her to swing in mid air, which gives even more distance and height than Drake's triangle. It also attacks anything that touches her automatically.

There's also the fact that she can perform her lock on down triangle with out landing, and follow up with another air attack, or another swing.

Add platforms to that, and Nariko is the perfect rival.
