It's already been confirmed that the owners of Crash and Spyro won't allow those characters to be in PSABR. Why is everyone still screaming for them. I would have to agree that Crash would feel like Jak's playstyle without the gun. Jak's spin attack reminds me of Crash's spin a lot actually. o.o
So you're asking whether we'd prefer to have two popular icons, or one popular icon...
Choice is clear. I'm actually kinda offended that you'd consider ONE FF character to be equal to both Crash and Spyro combined...
i dont think too highly of spyro to be honest, never liked his games much.
All the Sir Dan hate and you don't like Spyro.
I hate you. Sincerely. Go away.
i love crash bandicoot though. for me it is like asking me crash or an ff character? i felt crash needed the support of a niche character because hes less popular than final fantasy.
Crash's popularity quickly died after the Wrath of Cortex. Spyro's popularity has persisted and managed to obtain new fans throughout his 3 incarnations. If anything, Crash is the niche character these days.
Crash would be a worse clone of Jak, and Spyro just wouldn't fit.
That said, many FF characters would probably play like clones of current characters, so its a tough call.
By far one of the worst posts on this board.
How? What does Crash do, spin around? Jak does the same, but with punches and other melee attacks and weapons. I loved the PS1 Crash games, but they were big because they were simple fun. Spyro is a four legged dragon that charges and puffs fire. Just wouldn't fit.
Then we have too many weapon specialists in the game, so it doesn't feel like a FF character could differ enough to be worthy.
PSN ID: Troll_Face_Flame (formerly armyflame) X360 gamertag: ArmyFlame9 Sonic Adventure 2 = the last GOOD Sonic game.
yeah i didnt think his post was bad, i mean crash's main move was given to jak afterall, and if crash is going to do an aerial down move, it would be what jak already has. it makes some sense to me... i disagree about spyro not fitting though. im not his biggest fan but i can see a dragon breathing fire as playable relatively easily in a game with serial killers, cats, and realistic people.
