So losing only a couple levels is worse than losing 15 levels like it is now? No. It takes 7 or 8 wins to make up for a single loss. Now that's stupidity when you have random lag and lucky kills.

Everyone knows dedicated servers are 100% superior for every type of game. Unfortunately, they cost money so no one uses them. We just have to live with peer to peer.


However, there are better ways to do peer-to-peer than this. Many games have features whereby the host status gets transferred to someone else if a host drops, and replace DCers with bots. Any game featuring more than 2 players should have these features.

Wow an actual real good criticism. I agree. We should send this as a letter to Superbot. I am getting really frustrated about this and I love the game but it is getting too much.

i thought they're using Blazblue's (and Persona 4 Arena's) online system? where players don't play against each other in real-time. they're apart by some milliseconds, i think, but Arc System Works (devs) did use servers for that, not p2p.


P2P is soooo 2006. remember Gears of War 2's online and all the complaints Epic got because of P2P? in Gears 3 they used dedicated servers. and that was when every PS3 exclusive was using dedicated servers? Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Uncharted 2, Warhawk, etc. even goddamn Twisted Metal used a server (although not a good one), but still, P2P? (okay, i'm overreacting since it's so obvious that they've been using p2p since the first beta), but still...they didn't even bother setting up servers for this game yet they all talk so much about this game's "online competitiveness" or some crap? ROFL.
