It's called "Playstation All Stars" not "Sony All Stars" or "First Party All Stars". There are plenty of game franchises that made the playstation a huge success including Tekken, MGS, and DmC although Bioshock not so much though it is popular. I say let as many characters in as possible, makes the game more diverse and fun.
The point was to pick strong Playstation games. I never meant that the games were owned by Sony.
Bioshock, Tekken, DmC, MGS: Revengeance, and Twisted Metal have all appeared on other platforms. In a game of 20 characters, when 5 characters have been 3rd party, that means over 1/4th of them are third party.
All of the characters I listed are strong Sony brands, that either originated on the Playstation, or have since had a number of their key games featured on the console.
Sonic has always shown more support towards Nintendo. That's where he truly belongs. A fan favourite? To who, Sonic fans? -_-
I could say the same thing about several of the entries in the game; all of them are fan favourites to their fans. I'm not a Tekken or Bioshock fan, but I don't hate them for getting in. They actually fit in quite well. Actually, Shadow would've made more sense. He has far more combat abilities.
Chaos Spear and Chaos Control could easily be two of his specials.
