arpantzPosted 12/29/2012 7:04:40 AM | I'm proud to be a close-mid range Radec. Spamming long range gets you nowhere. Usually when I see a guy doing that in a ranked FFA, he's the one that gets killed the most because he can't handle the close-up pressure.
Although "camping" and "spamming" are subjective terms. I rarely use the sniper rifle, but when I do bust out a couple shots with it, some people whine and complain over the headset that I'm a cheap camper noob. Wow, a ranged character using ranged attacks? If you're going to complain about that, then tell Kratos and Raiden not to use their melee attacks so much. It hurts a lot!

I don't mind playing the mid-range and close combat game with Radec, but in matches with Kratos, Raiden, Drake, or two/more of the aforementioned, i don't see the problem in playing as you will. if I'm the only Radec vs. 3 Kratos/Raidens, I'm not going to barge in and try to rack up AP with my close range attacks. Plus, they're almost asking for it if you're alone on one side of the map while they're duking it out.
It is amusing to play against camper Radecs though. It's rough for anyone caught in between, but if the other guy does the obnoxious stand-on-one-side-and-snipe, it's always amusing to beat him at his game. Just got a guy to ragequit because I kept taking him and the other guys out with my level 1 and had a clear lead before the last minute of game time.
