Which character best embodies American and Christian values?

Thoroughly disgusted though sadly not surprised by the responses to this topic.

To answer the question, perhaps Solid Snake. To give of oneself, to persevere even while unsure about the future, and even in the face of death, That fits pretty well.

The Vault Dweller from Fallout 3 for... blatantly obvious reasons.

Dante

Everyone hates him, everyone wants him gone, and yet he still fights for their safety and freedom from those who would dare oppress it.

Also he cusses a lot and tries too hard to be cool.

Kratos. Would do anything for a god until bad s*** happens, then he blames them besides himself. Also doesn't give a s*** about anyone besides himself and loves violence and death.

That aughta sum it up. He's being nationally intolerant as well, seeing as this topic lumps Christians and Americans together.

I'm assuming you meant in this game... but since I can't think of anyone, I'll say John Marston. He's not the best guy ever, but he's a former criminal who repented, he's happily married and declines invitations from women of ill-repute, and he treats women and people of other races decently and honestly.

While I'm perfectly fine with your hate of religion, it's a bit odd that Christian values make you want to puke. Typically that refers to not committing crimes, being faithful to your spouse, kind and generous to others, and generally not being a jerk. (I'm well aware there are many people who claim to be Christians while being massive jerks. They're the exception.) I don't see how anyone could have a problem with that. Seems pretty nice to me. =/

Jogurt attacks! Inflicts 1 point of damage on the Goblin. Goblin is defeated! Jogurt gains experience.
...it appears that Jogurt's level has increased to 1.

Christian values....makes me wanna puke....

There is a myriad of reasons on why this is true. I won't even begin to get into this simply due to the guaranteed infraction by the mods. The most common is the hypocrisy, the hate mongering, and the destruction of free minded individual thought that this religion breeds. It is the number one contributer to the ignorant masses. I honestly believe that religion is the greatest evil to ever cross mankind.

Solid Snake fighting for america and justice. Not sure about christian values but gaming and religion shouldn't be mixed. In fact religion and anything shouldn't be linked.

What exactly about this is wrong? Why is God exempt from being judged as a person? I'm wondering where I'm flawed here. Besides that, the most likely reason you yourself are Christian is because most other religions were stomped out during a bloody revolution during many ages. Roman executions, spanish inquisitions, so on. The most popular christian holidays are derived from pagan tradition, so I don't think it's above other religions. How much do YOU know about Christianity, exactly?

Listen buddy, why don't you lay off him, okay?

I mean is this how you get your kicks (making blasphemous statements online)?
Christian holidays are not pagan either. No idea why you are trying to insult us. I will seriously be praying for you.

ummm because they were in fact taken from pagan holidays. im not an atheist btw. im wiccan so i believe in most everything. not just one god. all of you do make some valid points though.
