I see it doing quite well.

They love Smash over there and nearly everyone has a PS3, seems logical it will see imo.

When's the last time a Western-made game with poor aesthetics that didn't really sell well in the west sold well in Japan?

How can you say it's like Smash with a straight face? At least say "it looks like Smash."

IMO It plays like a cross between Power Stone and Jump Ultimate Stars.

Infamous doesn't really have ugly aesthetics and the series sold millions. PSASBR... not so much....

If this game didn't do so well here, I can't imagine it selling any better in Japan.
