This game would have been great like Smash, unfortunately it suffers from a lackluster cast and the implementation of cheap combos.

40$ is a great price for it. Don't expect anything special for story mode. There is a lack of variety in the game too. The cast solid...but just needed a few particular characters to be considered great. The game play is amazing..but hands down BROKEN as far as balancing characters goes. Hopefully there will be a patch soon.

I've spent so many hours online. Once you get the hang of it, you will be addicted.

Yes and yes.

@ $40 it is now worth its price. it wasn't worth it at $60 honestly.

However this game takes a bit more skill, isn't as smooth and polished as smash bros gameplay wise and some characters have the upperhand against others so it takes patience as well.

I dont get how people even determine which of the two games take more skill. The amount of skill goes how ever far the players take it. You just do different things to be skillful at them.
