It happens, but the timing for it is so strict that it hardly Ever does.

If someone does a super and catches you just before you do your level 3, you die right when the cinematic begins and lose all your meter.

Ive done it to a Kratos once. as i said, it's incredibly rare for it to happen since they have to be in the process of dying just as they start their level 3

A Ratchet once hit me out of my Radec's lvl3 in ranked. Needless to say, I now go for all Ratchets online. Hate them with a passion.
