"Playstation All Stars Battle Royale" sounds like something a 60 year old executive thought up after a focus group or something. XD
Moving past that, yeah. I think their original concept would've sold way better - it seems charming, frenetic, and fun, which is exactly what people want in games like this.
Instead Superbot decided to re-tool it and aggressively market this game to the FGC, which is hilarious when you consider that there's like maybe 100,000 people total who actually follow fighting game events like EVO, and the vast majority hate games like this on principle.
What a misfire, jeez. XD "Let's make a brawler game, marketed to hardcore fighting game fans, that has a really ridiculous roster. We'll make billions!"
If I haven't mentioned Trivio in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.
Title fight looked bad. Even with better graphics, supers would have been useless considering how large each stage would have been. Why even bother with some level 3's? Why do you think superbot changed?
If they had kept the train level that would have been cool but otherwise no.
