Weird Vita Only Combo

I found this really bizarre occurence today, it's a combo that can only be done consistently on the Vita version, as the move seems to behave differently on the PS3 version :S

Literally every time I use the grenade attack like that on the Vita version it works, but almost every time I do it on the PS3 version, it doesn't. This is really weird :S

Yeah, Iron Fist in UMvC3 is like that. On the PS3 version he can do his full 3-move rekka into his crumple, then he has time to power up and launch to continue the combo. But on the Vita he can't do that; the power up has to be the last of the 3 hits or else it won't combo. It's like they wanted to nerf him in the Vita version lol.

I just tested out the combo online, Vita vs. PS3, I'll post the video when it's uploaded.
Each player's grenade behaves as it does in their version of the game. The combo CAN be done on PS3, but it's not a reliable combo due to the grenade's inconsistency.

Yup, but if the PS3 player tries it it won't always work

Good combo btw. It won't come up often, but it's definitely something to be aware of.

I might depend on the character. It worked pretty consistently om Radec, Raiden and Rachet just now on the ps3.

I had no Idea that landing a sticky grenade mid combo make it explode immediately. Also for anyone having some problems with the jumping knife combo, make sure you're using the actual jump. Not the short hop.

Hm, that's really interesting. I tried it on Kratos on both versions in the test and it didn't work on PS3, but if it works on some characters then that's good.

I think the reason the grenade explodes is because it actually sticks to the wall, and in their knockdown state they bump it and trigger it.
