I agree though. I've seen so many Randumb Evil Coles tediously attempt to land the same "Giga Punch into Down Square into Grind Blades into air tether into firebird/nightmare blast" so many times that even after a blocke/whiffed GP they throw out the Down Square. It's kind of lame.

In fact, I make it a personal mission to switch up HC's when I use Spike, Toro, and FP... then again, they're the only people I use consistently that even HAVE good HC's (Damnit Emmett, Sackboy and your single one, and Parappa) That's actually not a bad idea. You'll feel less cheap, yes, but you will also keep your opponents on their toes. |

If you're not using the same combos over again, you're doing it wrong. If there's a certain combo that gets the most damage possible, why would I go to anything else? To be fair, repeating combos for the majority of the round can get stale real quickly... I button mashed with Eddy in tekken 3, but it seemed to everyone I used to different moves so all my friends thought I was really good. Does that count? I think it was tekken 3 anyway, been so long. |
