So, as some of you may or may not know, I plan on holding a forum war between several different communities in PSASBR. I will be representing PSASA (http://www.playstationallstarsarena.com/forums/index.php) and I need to have you guys agree to a roster of 5 players for GameFAQs. Also, do note that Dabuz will be repping ASA so he is not to be included in your roster. This will very likely be a 1v1 tournament. I got the idea from MvC 3's Team USA vs the World at Seasons Beatings 2012. An analogy most would get is that it plays like a trainer battle would in Pokemon: when a player loses, they are switched off to battle the winner of the previous match. Once all players from a team (I'm thinking a team of five would do service to the forums without being needlessly long) are eliminated, the team with remaining players wins the set. Sets are best of 3. The team captain can assign player order and can call in a player to counterpick the other team's winner if they so desire. The team captain, however, is always the last member to do battle, as if they are eliminated, the set is awarded to the winning team.
My current idea for your roster is the following:
Team Captain: HeroicMoises 2: Crabhammar 3: LES 4: Lucarioaura 5: IcyFlamez
This is merely my suggestion as I do not know everybody here very well. If you guys could hopefully agree to a team of 5 players, it would help in my efforts to include GameFAQs in the community war. Thank you for your time and do try to keep the trolling to a minimum.
I love the concept of this. Something similar happened on the forums before the release of all stars, but the person in charge got to lazy and was overwhelm too much that the idea just perished lol! --- My own personal theme song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fL0nWoHG11Y
I probably will do a 2v2 but I want to see how this goes. Doing a 2v2 tournament like this is literally twice as difficult so I need to know A) What I'm doing and if I'm doing it right. B) Arrange twice the amount of players.
