Blaster: Shoots faster now, and reloads similarly to Radec's rifle. The AP nerf was absolutely unnecessary.
Wave Concussor: Seems to be no middle charge for it. Uncharged is tiny, while full charge...seems just as big. One thing I did notice is you fall at normal speed while air charging it, instead of having a slow decent.
Beam Reflexor: Same
Peace Maker: Same
Gyro Burster: Much better now. Short hopping and launching it will actually make an umbrella of bullets that reach the ground. That extra second of time comes in handy, too.
Needle Lazer: The homing on this thing sucks now, and the recovery time has been increased. Good luck comboing from it, now. Least the horizontal range and speed are somewhat increased.
Mass Inverter: Even harder to combo from now. You'll be lucky if you can land your Peace Maker or Spinkick. Start up time decrease is pretty much pointless due to this. Useless buff.
Arc Wielder: This thing hits faster, but is back to pushing people way the hell away from you, making it hard to land all 5 hit unless you're at point blank and aim it up as they are hit. Way to take 1 step forward and 2 steps back. The 4 extra AP wasn't worth breaking the functionality.
Level 1: No difference, but cheaper now
Level 2: Holy s***, it's actually changed. Initial shock that freezes people right next to you, able to hit people with Jak in mid air, and I think the screen freezes as you launch it. It's a perfectly viable level 2 now.
Overall...yeah, I think Jak might be more hurt than healed in this case. We'll see how his fixed supers play out, but the alteration of his moveset for the worse might kill him.
Every patch for PlayStation All-Stars seems to fix one thing and break another. It's like fixing the windshield of a car, and then the tires pop off.
Haven't had a chance to even try it out myself because I have to study but I'm hoping it's not as bad as you say it is. I'm glad that initial shock on the level 2 was actually a thing we pointed out and it turned out to be something they added. Can't wait to see that.
