It's fun overall but the devs need to see that nobody gies a damn about FFA and they are killing the 1v1 and 2v2 scene IMO. Most of their so called "balance changes" should have stayed with them and never been released. I'm sure they have good intentions in mind but some characters are just horrible now and it makes me wonder how much thought and testing truly went into the game.
Stages are good
Pretty good roster

My overall feelings towards this game...........and every female member of the board ; )

Opinion? I don't have opinions. I deal in facts.

Roster.
The roster is objectively terrible. So terrible in fact to the point of being comical. I can't even be annoyed at the roster, it's too funny. The roster will forever be known as the laughing stock of fighting games.

Gameplay.
Good but flawed with tons of potential. But it will never reach this potential because they are catering to lol FFA.

Music.
Not great, not terrible either.

Modes.
Lacking. Extremely lacking.

Online:
Great for matchmade 1vs1s and 2vs2s. Horrible for ranked FFAs/2vs2s. Constant ragequits and disconnecting problems. Constant glitches.

Stages:
They would be good except they are too big. This game is already a camp fest, this could have been helped a bit with smaller stages.

If you want a 1v1 balanced fighting game, then go play something else, because you won't find it here. The balancing and what not are oriented around 4 players, meaning FFA and 2 v 2. 1v1 isn't the main priority here.

Did you read? I know that the balance is mainly from a FFA perspective but the thing about FFA is more than half of the community prefer 2v2 or 1v1. By the way, I play many fighting games from BlazBlue, Street fighter, Tekken, MvC and I can tell you there is no such thing as balance lol so that's not what I'm looking for. I know this isn't meant for 1v1 but IIRC, some of the devs are aware that 1v1 is a favorite and wish they could lean more towards 1v1 balance. FFA is just the least favorite and at this point, they should just listen to the fans if they want their game to last longer.

This game still has a lot of potential. the roster is decent, but does lack a few key franchises for whatever reasons. my biggest issue is that this last patch has done to PSASBR what the AE patch did to SSF4. made it a bit more offensive but killed so many other aspects. I feel like Spike's buffs have all but made him ineffective in most situations with nothing really worthwhile to compensate.

I like this game for doing what most games, especially this gen, refuse and take a risk with a new concept. it shows that given enough effort something new can still be made.
