ITT: ways to buff Radec

People across the board say that Radec is apparently ass and the worst character in the game, so let's come up with ways to buff him.

Increase the distance Radec steps back when he uses Down+Square (the grenade drop)

Make the grenades of his grenade launcher (Down+Triangle) explode when they touch an enemy.

Make his Forward+Square a two-part move so that you can cancel it after the knife stab if your opponent blocks it.

Greatly increase the hitbox of both the ground and air Up Square attacks. Also, the ground version should recover much faster.

He is now able to hold the sniper for up to one second, to catch roll-dodgers.

Along with everything you said, mainly the Forward Square. Also, if the Down Triangle gets that kind of buff, its startup should be increased.

A while ago someone suggested that Radec should be able to tilt/aim his gun moves up and down. That fix/help how very stage dependant he is (slopped grounds..), and give him some kind of way to deal with people below him.

Make his grenade launcher and his down square explode on contact.

Now people will say he's broken sauce.

The problem is that he is very stage dependent with little variety in moves. Maybe make some aimable.

Make his sniper semi-auto.

Make the down square grenade have the same effect as down triangle.

Bigger flamethrower range.

Jetpack.

Air sticky grenade fires downward like Nate's tranquilizer
Add more control to some of his other moves: aimable flamethrower, can delay sniper a bit to add some unpredictability, etc.

His moveset is just too linear.

pretty much. this guy has it spot on.

the only other thing I can think of is to make his forward throw a bit faster

It's terrible that any of the dev's attempts to balance him will likely not be this.
