totally agree. Such a chorefest. Jak 2 is just a giant fetch quest.
platforming + roaming about with peopole reacting to your every move (like Assassins Creed) do not blend well.
And its just a chore to get everywhere. You're literally forced to use hoverstuff to get anywhere quickly, and those controls are extremely sloppy, you cant turn without running into somethng and alerting the guards to start shooting you.
At least Jaks outfit is good. Pretty much the only redeeming thing this game has. --- PSN~ MilliardoPcraft PSASBR Mains: Zeus/Kat/G.Cole/E.Cole Official Crash Bandicoot/Hades of the PSASBR Board.

Jak 2 was terrible. Jak 1 grew on me, though. I love the Super Mario 64 esque style of collecting "stars" by doing certain objectives in an area. --- PSN: HexagonalZebra www.livinglegacy.enjin.com

If ya get far enough, you'll learn to hate that games checkpoint system too. My god I can't remember how many times I rage quit when I last played it. --- "Pray not to have easier lives, but pray to be stronger men."- President John F. Kennedy. GT: Dsurion21

Jak II is good, but the terrible checkpoint system really gets me raging especially when once I make progress in an area and die which makes you repeat it all over. --- PSN: mtKing52 "You cant fight nature Jack, wind blows, rain falls and the strong prey upon the weak."

I played Jak II when I was 11, honestly didn't notice anything bad about it. --- Something about kilts... Also: http://www.youtube.com/user/selite?feature=mhee
