RISE OF THE COLEz

Proposed Nerfs for Cole:
1.) Redirect Rocket only redirects when the opponent is stunned by the bolts
2.) Lightning Tether has increased start-up time
3.) Ice Pillar knocks the opponent higher.
4.) Tornado is slowed down to its original speed.

To balance him, here's some Buffs:
1.) Bolts only need to hit five times to stun an opponent (5AP each building 20 with 4 shots and the stun gives 10 AP)
2.) Lightning Tether has increased range.
3.) Redirect Rocket travels quicker and lasts longer in the air.
4.) Grind has increased speed and travels farther.
5.) Attacks used during Grind have reduced start-up time.

I know these suck but deal with it.

It already takes around five bolts to stun....... and The Redirect Rocket vanishes too quickly to have to rely on 5 bolts to redirect.

Hahahahahahahah!! Run away spam shock nades, drop escape ice chunks, and use level 1. Heck go for 3 seeing that if any one gets close you can float away.

Exactly why my Nerfs prevent this.

No, your nerfs actually make him way more mobile and overcompensates for the lack of projectiles and makes him worse to deal with

People like you is why 'nerf _______ character guyz he be OP' should be ignored by devs. Look at MVC3 Sent. People whined because of Sent's O mash that wasn't even hard to deal with and made most Sents free to kill but Capcom was like 'oh noez! mah money be whinez! NERFZ' and Sent lost total HP and his O got even worse

2.) Lightning Tether has increased range.

This is more of a nerf because a longer range means more cooldown on whiff.

lol this.... A good cole that follows those steps , knows how to dodge and utilize grind can be almost untouchable and still effectively build a lv 3 gauge at a decent rate.

Not nearly as braindead as Kray-Kray and Raiden tho. Despite the fact he's top tier, you can't win with G. Cole without doing a little thinking.

Not nearly as brain dead as Kray-Kray and Raiden tho. Despite the fact he's top tier, you can't win with G. Cole without doing a little thinking.

Im sorry but i just have to disagree with this. IMO any cole that knows how to dodge and uses the steps above can easily gain ap for a lv2/3 easy....Especially with the in Your face characters(except kratos) ...they fall for the cinder block every time cause they gotta get close..

Kray-Kray and raiden have easy hit comfirms but that means nothing if they are not able to get close to you to begin with....Not to mention they cant build ap effectively from a opponent they can barely hit or combo....so this why this strategy is very effective against most of the cast. He just has an overall balanced move set to handle just about anyone. Mobility, Projectiles, easy hit confirms, combo-ability, and able to gain AP rather efficiently.

Bwahaha, Raiderp is way easier to use than GC or Kratos combined.
