Rapture

Bioshock X Critical Depth

Phase 1 theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEFIZh_Zscc
Phase 2 theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzMAndtwOWM

The camera phases through the intro to Rapture, and then through a glass tunnel, where the fighters will be brawling at. In the background, on can see various fish swimming in the background However, a minute and fifteen seconds into the fight, all of a sudden, three of six submarines from Critical Depth will begin to fight in the background. You'll see either Manta (CIA), The Stalingrad (USSR Remnants), The Anarchy (The Venegaza Liberation Army), The Armageddeon (Mad scientist Dr. A. Pocalypse), Lockjaw (A student of an Indiana Jones like professor), or The Ohm (a cult-like group who worships a being similar to Cthulhu)

Along with them, will be the Sea Dog (a pirate-ship submarine), that will fire cannonballs that miss the opposing submarines, but will hit the tunnel, and puncture it to harm the players (there will be warning markers on the ground, as always.) Water will also lightly leak onto the floor, slowing down movement on the floor, but not on other platforms in the level.

Although I only played Bioshock 2 and haven't even heard of Critical Death I can tell this is actually a great mash up you did. Not only does the individual BGMs sound good, but the music transitioning sounds like it would work out great. CD also deals with water, which is another good reason why its a great mash up, so I see what you did there. The only problem is you have the mash up of CD start before the BS BGM ends. It would make more sense to have the guys start fighting right when the CD BGM starts up or BS BGM ends :P

But yeah overall this sounds cool. I would probably buy it if it was real. I would want to know what the layout looks like as well.

EDIT: Don't hate me for this, but I think this song from CD would be better. This song actually sounds like the perfect 2nd sequence of a stage BGM's in general. Like this song has everything going for it. Has intensity, engaging tone to fighting (which of course relates to game-play), atmospheric to the depths of water in general and may'be even BioShock since that game is related to water, etc.

I'm not offended at all, I should have the end of that Bioshock OST be the cut-of point, ant I probably meant that, with the hint of it playing at the opening screen for it (like many other in-game levels)

As for Medterranean, it's another one of my favored tracks from the game, but I've got more memories with Pacific Rim (my favorite in the OST), and Bermuda, even, which might fit better than both of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wltpJwLx_Gw

Yeah the cutoff of the BS BGM should just be it's default total duration, because it's duration is actually not even that sufficient anyway, but it's still good enough to be used with it's full duration.

After listing to the link you sent. Its no doubt it's a great BGM, but the problem is it doesn't have the right/proper pace. Mediterranean has more potential, because of it's pace. It has the perfect tone and pace for a secondary BGM within a stage period. BiB would actually be best as a primary (1st sequence) BGM.

I love when people form and/or based their opinions off vague memory...

Let's agree to disagree :P My other ones don't mesh well at all, but I think it's part of their charm. (Except maybe Edward City, of course. That one seemed to fit pretty decentish.)
