Would this game have been better if...

The AP bar actually was HP and AP? The meter would probably double in size, supers would cost less and do damage instead of insta-killing, but I think that struggle of maintaining HP and AP could've been interesting.

Maybe if there was a separate HP bar alongside the AP bar. I'm not 100% sure about how merging the meters would work out.

The option to toggle that would've been nice. An HP-only mode, a mode with HP and Supers, and a mode with only supers.

I really don't see why that option wasn't included in the game. Even if it's not well balanced, who cares - 300% Brawl and spicy curry Brawl aren't balanced, but it's in the game and it's nice to have.

If I haven't mentioned Trivio in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.

I remember something like this being in a DBZ game. The health bar would merge with the Special Gauge, so everytime the character did a special (in this case a Super) the Health Bar would decrease a given amount, and because landing attacks increased the Special Gauge, the Health Bar would go up. Is this what you meant, cuz it's already been done, but its interesting to say the least.

It was "Something Very Asian 2" it's a 2D fighter one where you could customize the characters' specials and the story mode was like a board game.
