Not really. Generations was 30FPS on consoles, and that wasn't a huge deal. To me, it's a lot more important that the frame rate stays locked and consistent than high.

30 fps isn't so bad.
Wasn't the first one 30 as well?

I don't mind 30fps as long as it can remain a lot more steadier then the first game.

Aslong as its a solid 30fps it dosen't matter

A solid 30fps is better than a 60fps game that looses framerate because it cant handle it.

Ofcouse a solid 60fps is even better, and i'd love that, but with fast paced kart racing game, with transforming, all star moves and 8 way player action, it simply may not be possible.

I don't think there is an arcade racer that does 60 fps. MK sure doesn't. Its not the the racing its the flashy environments, one of my favorite things about the game.

30 will be fine.

I would prefer 60 fps to 30 fps (with better graphics), but oh well. If the game runs seamlessly then the point may be moot after all.

For a racing game 60fps would definitely have been preferable but I agree better have constant 30 than a shaky 60.

Smooth 30fps is light years better than choppy and inconsistent 60fps - FACT

I'm just curious--what games lately have had 60 FPS but choppy performance?
