If that`s the only difference you`re looking for, then no. This game is a LOT harder than S&SASR.
Also, amazing soundtrack. (So amazing, they have a remixed Sonic R medley that sounds GOOD.) --- "Jackass Thompson doesn't approve of Wii Music. He's on a crusade to put an end to sax and violins in games" -Gogo726

Like above poster said, you will have to stay drifting for quite a long time to get Level 3 Boost, like more than 10 seconds. Also, switch from side to the side didn't help as it stuttered the hissing sound.
So instead of relying just on Level 3 Boost, you should put some items in uses, as they can help you speed up the race or wrecking the opponents out of ways easily. Also, just don't focus on using the main road, try seeking out the shortcut and you can get ahead of your opponent quicker that way. My friend is gonna get this and we'll both be using the shrortcuts. He's Tails, I'm Sonic, and in true Sega fashion, he's always kept up with me closely or beat me.
So what are all the main tricks in this game, including those related to drift? --- Sent from my iPhone via PowerFAQs 1.10
