FMJ is completely broken

Last night I emptied pretty much the majority of an 100 round ammo belt into a UAV using MK48(the most powerful fully automatic gun in the game) while using FMJ and yet the UAV wasn't even destroyed... it just had smoke leaking from it. Wtf.

This is a piece of crap little UAV we're talking about. It shouldn't take more than 15ish bullets if you're using a high caliber long range gun like the MK48 with FMJ, maybe 25 or so if you're using a weaker long range gun with FMJ. The MK48 kills in 3 bullets anywhere in the map. So stacking FMJ on top of that should be overkill. I should be able to spray down air support left and right with a gun this powerful. FMJ should do exactly what Blind Eye Pro did against air support in MW3.

Did Treyarch even test this? At this point I'm not even convinced that FMJ is even making the bullets more powerful against air support, like it's advertised to do. I've tried shooting at stuff with FMJ often and I really can't notice a difference.

It seems like no matter what gun you're using(even noob tubes like the War Machine) the air support in this game just eats bullet after bullet. Does anyone have an actual chart showing the health values of each air support?

I somehow feel like that may be exaggerated just a bit. Anyway:

Honestly for that much work taking a uav down you might as well just do nothing. Use ghost perhaps?

Black hat or launchers? Just saying you have clearly chosen the least effective way.

It's not exaggerated. Go try it for yourself.

My point is that FMJ isn't making you shoot air support down faster like it should. And bullets in general, even without FMJ, don't do enough damage to air support. I can understand something like a VTOL Warship, Escort Drone, Lodestar, or one of those big killstreaks taking a lot of bullets to kill. But come on... UAVs and Counter UAVs? They should be able to be shot down fairly easy with regular guns if someone is willing to take the time to do so.

And why should I have to put a Black Hat or Launcher on a class with what should easily be the <u>very best non-explosive gun in the game for spraying down air support with bullets</u>, and FMJ on top of it. I already have a FHJ on all of my other classes. This should be the only class I have where I'm able to think "f*** it, my gun is already good enough at shooting down air support... don't need any launchers or black hats".

Besides, I'm tired of playing solo and constantly having to be the only guy with a Stinger Rocket out the whole match shooting stuff down leaving me vulnerable because the randumbs on my team are going negative, feeding the other team killstreak rewards left and right. It would be nice once in a while to have a regular gun that's capable of shooting that crap down without leaving me COMPLETELY helpless...

It wasn't a UAV I was trying to shoot down with it, it was an Escort Drone I believe. Which is fine... I can understand a powerful killstreak like that absorbing a lot of damage. But it seems like the AGR and Stealth Chopper, which don't even take as much score to get, absorb a lot of War Machine damage. One thing's for sure... the UAV/Counter UAV definitely eat too many FMJ bullets.

You have a strange sense of humor. The whole point of the thread was that it shouldn't be as ineffective as it is, which the both of you should go test out and see for yourself if you don't believe me. FMJ advertises that increases bullet damage to air support. I'm calling BS on that.

You know who is really easy to kill? The guy standing in the spawn shooting up in the air like an idiot. Like I really just can't comprehend how this is a problem. You have other options, you even admit that you have a class with a launcher. When I see an AGR you know what I do? I wait to die (sometimes even let it kill me) and come back to destroy it with an emp grenade. Would you like to guess what I don't do? Stand in front of it shooting my rifle at it.

Are a fanboy or just stupid? Read what you just said. If FMJ is supposed to increase you're damage towards killstreaks, and I'm already using the most powerful gun in the game for shooting down killstreaks, then it shouldn't be taking 60+ bullets to shoot down the weakest air support in the game. Why don't you just admit that it's broken? I'm going to laugh when it's proven that FMJ doesn't do crap towards killstreaks and Treyarch actually patches it giving it a huge buff.
