Help with Diamond'ing the Crossbow

#1hereforemnantPosted 12/30/2012 12:11:45 AM
As i finished everything for my Combat Knife, and am performing touch ups on the Ballistic Knife, how should i go about getting 300+ kills with the Crossbow. That just seems like an absurdly stupid amount considering more often that not you either miss, or stick then someone else kills your target before it goes off.

So does anyone have suggestions on a good Crossbow class and what to use?

just treat it like a sniper rifle and line up your shots well, at worst carry it as a secondary while doing another gun and just use it to kill people who aren't paying attention, they'll build up pretty quick.

The only problem is it's ridiculous drop, but i'll definitely give it my best shot. To the other poster, i'd really rather not play in Sticks and Stones.

On the sight options, there's a sight that has 3 dots that line up vertically.
Those line up perfectly when aiming at close, medium, and long ranges.

I found that and did pretty darn well solo'ing with the crossbow in TDM.

you have to get used to it ...

when you start using a gun ... any gun ... it feels different than the previous ...

like when switching from a less recoil weapon to a higher one ...

using the weapon will help you learn its curves , ADS time , sprint delay ... all of that ...

there's really no better way to do it aside from putting time into it ...
