Will Black Ops II Use IW's engine and netcoding?

If so, I'll consider giving this game a chance. if not, I'm one with Treyarch for good.

Why was MW3's engine and netcoding a lot better than Black ops's?

People still seem to praise Black Ops to this day.. probably only because they can't compete in MW3.. IDK though, never played BO's.. But I've heard of the inflated KD's on there.

because MW3 used IW's engine and netcoding. Black Ops used an older and outdated version.

Black ops uses a modified version of the engine used in W@W. Mw3 was using a much more advanced engine that was improved off of mw2. In other words Black ops uses IW 3.5 and mw3 uses IW 4.0.

Hopefully not, I'd rather they used something that worked rather than that MW3 rubbish.

I don't know why they don't use the MW2 net coding/engine - it's way better than BOps and MW3

MW3 had horrible lag compensation. Watch a killcam sometime. People will be seconds ahead of you.

And same engine as the last 6 games or so.

This so much.

In MW2 I could kill with 2 or 3 bullets. (I'm not talking about drop off damage that was introduced with BO either).

In BO, in a situation that would kill in 2-3 bullets with a 4 bar connection, with my 3 bar, it took me 3-5 stray bullets + another 3 to hit and kill the target. I've tested this on fiber optics at my cousins (gets constant 4 bar) and with my 3 bar DSL. I could always kill with 2-3 bullets when the situation arose in BO with his connection, instead 6-8 with mine. In MW3 it's a bit more balanced, I've played on his fiber optics and my dsl, and it's relatively the same, just like MW2. Still not as good as MW2's netcode though.

At 0:45 you'll see a Scar-H that looks like it's taken directly from MW2. I'd say that's some good evidence that they're using the MW2 engine. It makes sense though because Treyarch has always used IW's previous engine, rather than the most recent.
