This seems to be some sort of Kalashnikov rifle. It has no flash hider so it may be yet another Ak-47 or AKM rifle. But the magazine is off. I'm guessing it's going to be another poorly designed AK rifle like the one from BO1.
There is a weapon slung across the soldier's back. It looks like some sort of M4/M16 type of rifle.
There is also that fictional weapon. It looks a lot like they based it on the XM8, an experimental weapon that was canceled years ago. A few games that I can think of that have the XM8 is I think the old Ghost Recon games and Battlefield.
That's about it for now. --- Yo Buddy, Still Alive?

So in other words, BO2's weapons are going to be a combination of real world firearms and on-the-drawing-board prototypes/fictional ones? Could be interesting. --- "Oh, was that a bit too much?"-Raine Sage, ToS "Two men enter, one man leaves"-Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

They better add a Mega Buster in this, or I'm not buying. --- I sound tough over the internet.

It takes place in the decade of 2020. So yeah, a mixture of current weapons and prototype's is what they are going for. Obviously 10 years from now guns we have today will still be viable options. But we won't be shooting lasers at each other and running around with lightsabres. --- GT: lBranthrax ---- Do not add me. I am better than you. Unless you're over 18 and don't need to be carried.
