Forget the whole auto aim thing. (QSers can still get kills without that)


All you would need to do is only give OSKs for snipers that hold their breath for 2-3 seconds. If you QS then you only get hitmarkers.


Seems to me that would be the best solution, without having to completely remove sniper rifles from the game...

Why not just remove snipers from the game? If the only way you can get a kill with them is to lay in the grass and hope you can find someone to stare at and shoot and get your 5-10 kills a game while people with automatics can run in and get both long range and close range kills and get 40-50 kills a game because theres no recoil on the guns.. Why even bother?

This has nothing to do with quick scoping.

The hold breath idea is in another game and works really well! In hybrid your bullet does more damage the longer you aim down the scope. Pull up your scope and fire it does low damage wait a few seconds and instant kill city. I for sure support this idea!

That's the same way that the sniper rifle works in TF2; a fully charged headshot is the only way to OSOK a heavy.

Holding breath for 2-3 seconds is a bit extreme because your default limit is 4 seconds. The trouble experienced in BO is actually that their fix for QSing nerfed your proper snipers. If you didn't hold breath, your bullet would travel in a random direction, not where you're aiming. This particularly made using an ACOG scoped SR difficult, reducing the potential fun of the ACOG WA2000.

Why are you guys so mad? So you want SR's in the game, but you want them to be useless? CoD is a fast paced shooter and you need to accept that instant death laser beams outclass the guy who has to ADS and steady his swaying scope.

Having the ability to QS is the only way for SR's to function in a fast paced shooter like CoD.
