I have the A50s. They are very nice. Exactly what I would expect from astro. If you want wireless A40s, well, A50s then.

I also have the A50's and they are great. Good sound quality and easy to hear footsteps. I have not had the technical issues that others have reported (updated to latest firmware).

Any other suggestions? Thanks for the feedback so far.

I've heard the 2013 astro a40's are good. They just came out

I have the brand new Astros (picked them up @ Best Buy 2 weeks ago, looking for an additional wireless option.

How easy is it to pick up footstep sounds with those? I would like to get them, only thing holding me back are the mixedd reviews (a lot of people are saying that there is a good number of defective headsets).

Well, how do the specs on the new Black Ops Tango compare to the Astro A50? That seems like the best way to start a comparison.

Im also thinking of snagging a pair and have yet to do much research. All the reviews on the internet praise the A50, but their forums are a completely different world.

Thinking of picking up the A40s, since they seem tried and true, and I dont mind if they are wired. Ill be doing more research into it but it seems theyre they way to go.

The new edition A40s are awesome and have presets, I'm in the same spot about the A50s, might wait for the reviews on TB Tango and see if there are more firmware updates for A50s.
