I just might cancel my preorder for this game

The CoD servers for PS3 have been down for like 4 or 5 days now and Activision is blaming it on Sandy. I don't believe that though because they first went out right after Sandy and Activision blamed it on the hurricane then, which is fine. However, the servers went back up like a day later then went down again a day (or two Idr) after that.

Basically, the hurricane only came once, so if the servers went down because of that then went back up, then how can they somehow go down a day or two after they went back up and it be the fault of a hurricane that left days prior?

I say all that to say this, I know MS and Activision has some sort of partnership going on or whatever, but that doesn't mean they should just blow off their PS3 customers. I find it funny that the servers work just fine for 360. Why give money to a company that doesn't care about me as a consumer?

I wanted to play some MW2 badly after not playing it for long time, and BAM cant connect to server:( but oh well dat shouldnt stop u from buying this game if servers are gonna run well when release.

you get what you pay for. you happen to pay nothing for your PS3 internet capabilities. so yeah, they are gonna ream you. thats why i'll totally give $60 to XboX/microsoft. although in any industry you're going to get ripped off. for anything they can get away with.

It would cost me $160 to do so. I got my 360 for free with a laptop and it's the cheap 4gb one. I would have to buy a hard drive which is about 100 bucks (I know I can get a cheap one, but I don't trust 3rd party products due to past experiences) and I would have to pay for a Live subscription. Then you can toss the cost of the game right on top of that.

I know right who buys CoD for the PS3 ,Plus i think TC is serious underestimating the damage done by the storm.

What does that have to do with anything? The 60 bucks you pay goes to MS, not Activision. The servers are the responsibility of Activision, not Sony or MS, so why would Activision care about me not paying for a service when they wouldn't get a dime of that money anyways? That makes no sense.

And to the guy who brought up me being on the 360 board, it's the most active one so of course I would come here. It's the same game, grow up. I can't believe people are still going on about this kiddie console war after all these years.
