- won't close between 9 and midnight - will start processing payments from 10-midnight - will hand out games right at midnight, so you're on your way home to play by 12:15 - you can kill time in a warm building with lots of gadgets and stuff to look at
- closes then re-opens at midnight - won't start processing payments until midnight - unless you are at the front of the line, it may be an hour+ before you get to go home and play - you'll be lined up on the sidewalk in the cold/wind/rain for hours waiting to get in
Clearly your gamestop sucks... well all gamestops suck really, but, mine, in fact all 5 within 10 miles do it up like your best buy list.
Your gamestop list is how hey used to do it when they first ever did it with burning crusade. At least I think that was the first game they did it with. --- 3DS FC: 5327-0898-8218 "I used to be ballin but now I'm Bill Gatin"
I don't know about your Gamestop, but mine: -Won't close for midnight releases -Actually processes starting around normal closing time (just SAVE your receipt) -Hands out games at scheduled times -Lets everyone in and usually has wide screen TVs set up with the game or holds tournaments of said game until release and usually have quiznos or pizza and drinks for everyone
But it could also be my Gamestop is ran by bros and long time friends
For Halo 4 midnight opening, the Gamestop had a line down the sidewalk, while Best Buy had everyone indoors. Everyone was out the door at 12:05 while the losers at Gamestop were still lined up in the cold --- PSN: ZipCity
