you guys go get your eyesight checked

Animating something at different frame ranges is entirely different from viewing a moving image at higher frames.

Wow so much wrong...
First off video games are not moving images, they are individual drawn frames. A game running at 60 fps is definitely better than 30.

And saying you can't see past 22 fps is straight up ignorant.

Human eye does not perceive images in 'frames' but a stream of information which your brain reads as motion, brightness etc etc.

I like how people talk about "the human eye" like there's only one human eye. My eyes can easily perceive the difference between 30fps and 60fps, end of story. If I knew any of you in real life I'd bet $100 I could distinguish a 30fps clip from a 60 fps clip.

I would say smooth as some nice warming lube.

But human eye can see differences. In video game world a 60fps game looks way smoother then a 30fps game.

It's generalization mang.
When we say "the human eye", we mean eyesight of an average human being with no sight impediments.

This feels so smooth now. Maybe its because of all the Halo 4. But this is 60fps of pure bliss.

Going back to my game now.

+1 i agree. halo and battlefield play so slow because 30 fps cap. 60 fps always looked good on Cod. thats why halo/bf players are hating

CoD looks garbage, halo 4 looks amazing.

Not sure what makes 60 fps to the kiddies so godly, everything seems like its in 'fast forward'.

Consistent 30 is all you need, and halo4 is crisp and worlds ahead of CoD in the look and 'feel' department.

I have a 42" Samsung LED 240hz and with smooth motion feature on, all my games look to run around 60fps. Halo 4 looks awesome with a top of the line tv. Try upgrading your hardware noob.

Smooth as butter and looks like the same game from 2007. Great.

I love 60 fps, I really do. It's why I try to play on my PC(plus, it's cheap). However....any game can be 60 fps if it looks crappy enough. It's why CoD is.
