NAT: Moderate?

#1rdlee4474Posted 11/13/2012 12:44:10 PM
For starters, I have had an open NAT for years and never had any issues but for some reason Black Ops 2 says my NAT is Moderate all of a sudden.

I double checked and popped in Halo 4 to see if it's Open on there and it was.

Glitch? Something I need to do? Thoughts?

That's odd. I have open in both Halo and CoD, so I assume it's a glitch.

Test it in your 360 network settings (test connection), it will tell you if it's actually restricted or not.

I've had DMZ enabled for years already.

And I just done a connection test and it says Open.

Started Black Ops 2 back up and it still shows Moderate.

Not a big deal but feels a little weird.

Had it forwarded since Halo 3.

This is the first time/game it's happened with.

It happens a lot for me with recent FPS games. Mine is always set at open yet in Halo 4 it claims it's closed, any CoD it claims it's moderate and BL2 it claimed it was strict. Yet I never have a problem joining anything or having anyone join my games so more than likely the games just don't read it right.

Fair enough. That's what I was thinking too.

Just thought it was odd is all. :)

You double check your router settings?

Yes, I did after I posted this on here.

Everything is the same as it's always been.
