Total cluster****s. I mean, I can't turn a corner without being faced with 40 different directions from which enemies can attack. The maps are really complex - almost to a fault. Chokepoints are practically non-existent from what I've seen, and running and gunning awkwardly stops several times over when shot from behind. I can't tell if Treyarch were trying to stop camping or running -- both lead to being shot from behind it seems.
Not to say this is a totally bad thing, but for pacing, it's pretty lame. Just being honest about the maps; far too many openings and pathways.
Edit: And FTR, I've been playing several of the CoD games in the weeks leading up to BO2, so I can certainly tell the difference in these maps. One map in particular, I think it's Meltdown or something, is needlessly complex.

It's sad because games like CoD 4 and WaW especially had more wide open maps or at least maps with much less clutter. I don't see why treyarch made these maps so cluttered because you're right, you can't move anywhere without being exposed from at least 4 directions. It caters to the ADHD and punishes those that move slower/aren't always running and gunning.
