Convince me why I should Prestige

I'm having a hard time justifying why I should prestige at this point. I'm currently at level 46 and I'm actually starting to put up some very solid games now that I have most everything unlocked.

I've also noticed a lot of 55's, and haven't seen a person who's prestiged yet. So I think I'm going to pass on prestiging. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Give me some suggestions either way, why you are or aren't, or why I should or shouldn't.. Would appreciate it because I know once I sit on 55 for awhile, I'm really not going to.

i figure if the game is under a week old and you are that far along...why not. I just hit 40 (i think), and I plan on prestiging by monday (hopefully)

IIRC you don't get enough unlock tokens to unlock every gun/perk/equipment/wildcard unless you prestige a couple times.

I don't see a reason why not to prestige. You get one unlock per prestige /for example you can unlock Ghost permanently, or whatever you want) and you keep all gun unlocks and challenges.

All guns are viable this time around. Would be dumb staying at lv 55 forever. Prestiging is easier than ever. Just my opinion.

In Black Ops 1 yeah prestiging was a pain because of the perk challenges.

Not to be a jerk but why the hell would I or anyone else on this board care if you prestige or not?

Personally I always prestige because it makes the game a lot less boring when I am unlocking new items.
