The knife should NEVER be a viable weapon in a gun fight. I'm happy with how the knife is right now. Nothing frustrates me more than to be shooting someone in the chest and have them run through my bullets and knife me. It still happens, but not nearly as often as it has in the past. | |
I like the knife right where it is. I'm finally starting to work my way out of the "panic knife" reflex and I'm glad for it. The knife should be a humiliation weapon, and if should be insanely hard for 2 moving targets to hit one another, I like it just the way it is. I actually find that this time around the weapons are the most balanced out of all of the games. At least as far as classes go. I'm working on golding out some of these guns, so I haven't had a lot of time to try out a ton of different guns, but I found all of them to be at least serviceable besides the executioner pistol (which was GARBAGE in my opinion). Assault Rifle is likely going to trump SMG at long range. Medium Range is a bit more of a tossup between the two. Short Range ARs are going to lose to most SMGs CQC everything is going to lose to a shotgun. --- 84% of people make up their statistics. The problem is, for example, I dropped from above on an unsuspecting enemy (literally on top of him), crouched, and still couldn't knife him because he was "too far away". Shotguns need a range improvement. If you aren't in OHKO range with a shotgun, you are dead, so there's really no reason it should be so short. It doesn't need to be huge but they just don't seem worth using most of the time now. --- GT- Haelion W Justice League Member: Bernie Mac | |
