Call of Duty: Black Ops II

On every level, sales you name it. Within the week of release BO2 turned Halo 4 into a ghost town. Went from 100's of thousands of users being on a few of halo 4's game modes, to no more than a few thousand over 10k.

Halo knew they had to release before BO2 dropped otherwise their game would've completely flopped and that would've been the end of the Halo franchise as we knew it.

GTA V delayed their release almost a full 6 months just to avoid being anywhere near BO2's release window. Face it COD has a stranglehold on the industry, notice how Rockstar tried to get cute and release their 2nd trailer when BO2 hit shelves to try and steal the spotlight from BO2? Oh you didn't notice that? That's because nobody cared, BO2 was already taking the world by storm. Besides, that GTA game just looks like a bunch of cutscenes anyway. GTA's cutscenes look cartoony, BO2's campaign cutscenes you actually see the facial expressions and detail, it pulls you into the story so much more than GTA's where I find myself skipping them because I get bored, not to mention the AI graphics just aren't as polished so I can't take the characters seriously like I do with COD games.

Not only that, COD has the most loyal fanbase in gaming history, that is why they can never fail. You can't find another game that has more die hard fans. The haters just need to face it and deal with it. Come to terms do whatever you have to do, all your whining and complaining isn't going to stop, slow or even deter the COD franchise. They will continue pumping out classic after classic and if you don't like it, then too bad, you can get left behind because you're a straggler and don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

The lag compensation in BO2 makes it an infinitely more frustrating and bad experience so take your sales number, turn them sideways and stickem straight up your candy ass.

Its antiquated

I owned Halo before BOPS2 came out
And I had fun, a lot of fun
But it does not compare to the fun I'm having in this game

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. Loyalty's easy when you're at the top. Let's see where CoD's fans are when it starts getting outsold. Then we can judge loyalty.

If COD can lose the fan base whose first COD game was MW2 I would be forever grateful

Madden fans > cod fans? Maybe not in sales but in die-hardness.

For gods sake they took 10 years to remake the first game because they felt like it.
