CoD 1, because I was a little kid who didn't know any better to get pissed at online shooter games. Just loved the game, no raging. Amazing experience that got me to love the series. Loved the hell out of them up until MW2 (I think the series went downhill from here). Liked BLOPS 1 a lot though. Lost faith in treyarch with this game unfortunately. And WAW was enjoyable without using the MP40, hell the kill times in the last 4 games have been like the MP40 nonstop. Those bolt action rifles are just a blast.

I was never a mp40 abuser I liked all the semi auto weapons. It also seemed like less b.s in W@W
Maybe I'm mis remembering .

you are mis remembering because literally 90% of players used the MP40 with jugg and dual clip

no exaggeration, no typical CoD rant, its the truth

Call of Duty 3.

War on Eder Dam was some of the best fun I ever had, plus it introduced the class element and special abilities.

Shame it's now dead.
