I'm doing much better now that I tried this out. I hated being penalized for having a decent to good network connection when playing.

1) Simply open up a torrenting program (such as uTorrent) and start a torrent of any kind. Size of torrent should be at least a few gigs so that the download takes as long as your BO2 sitting.
2) Simply pause the torrent when you're done playing and resume it the next time you're going to play
3) Actually have a chance when you turn the corner
4) Win gunfights
5) Call in scorestreaks

Doing this hasn't helped me at all. In fact, it tends to pair me up with people from different countries much more often thus creating more lag. As for the topic at hand, if I need to lag myself down to play a game than it's programmed horribly. This needs to be fixed rather than expecting us with good connections to resort to illegal downloading.

Torrenting isn't illegal in and of itself, FYI.

But the media people download is more than likely to be done so illegally. ;)
