At least in comparison to previous games in the series? COD 4 was the first Call of Duty game I started playing online and had a 1.95 or so K/D, then in MW2 I had 2.05 or so, didnt play WaW online, BO1 I was 2.76 (at one point it was around 2.90 before i started messing around) and MW3 I was at around 2.30.
Here in BO2, I'm struggling to hold 1.60 while having average match after average match or bad match after bad match, longing for those good old times where I'd often dominate a game :( I don't think I've even had a pointstreak higher than the war machine.
I don't get it, its still COD, its not like the game mechanics ever change that drastically. Is this the nerd version of how athletes feel when they become washed up and mediocre? :(

The maps are small and spawns change just about every second, which means there are enemies just about everywhere. Even the best players get overwhelmed by the amount of enemies they have to fight, so going on long killstreaks is very hard.

The spawning is erratic but I still find myself losing a crapload of one on one fights that I would normally win in the past. Also, I didn't realize how much I rely on the knife in the this series until playing this game :O

Does it really have that much of an effect? I've seen quite a few players already with 2.50 type ratios
