Seeing as how thunder is followed by lightning much later, it seems appropriate that Treyarch renames it after this patch.

It's easy to miss Lightning Strikes now. Even with lightning quick reflexes (excuse the pun) , it takes ~1 second before it hits the target. Combine that with not knowing which direction the red blips are going = easy miss. Should be called Thunder Strike because thunder follows lightning much later.
