Hey if men were not corrupt socialism would be the perfect government system. Then again democracy actually might work then also.

The United States isn't a democracy.

It's a democratic republic.

So is North Korea...

I think you mean constitutional republic.

Here's the connection.

I can leave CoD. Just like if I lived in France, i could leave France. That doesn't mean France isn't socialist. So your point is flawed there.

Comparing the lag to the free market is a good example. A completely "free" market has no regulation or price manipulation. So the simple fact that hosts (those providing a service) are "regulated" by hindering their connection (lag compensation) to give others a more "fair"shot (and advantage) is far closer to a lack of a free market.

Whoever said that businessed lobbying (politicians or who else) to create regulations is exactly OPPOSITE of a free market. They need to take a simple economics class. A "free market" would allow those bigger businesses to put the smaller ones out of business. Not the other way around.

Conservatives want less regulation. Liberals want more regulation to make the world more "fair."

To say that a free market involves regulation is not very well informed.

I am very well informed, you however, are not.

Look at the people who clamor for free market in our society when rules are laid against them but beg for the rules to hinder the competition. Perfect example of this is patent and copyright. Who can lobby, not us. Who spends billions of dollars a year to get laws and regulations made, corporations. Yes those same companies that cry that we need a free market. Free market doesn't really mean what you think it means. A free market according to the market is "whatever helps me and screws you". Case in point, capitalism.

I had to quote this separate because it needs to be pointed out. This is stupid. This is completely wrong. Both groups want regulations (look at patent and copyright for numerous examples). You don't have to be a political or economics major to know that.

People with less than great internet are not poor. Between me and my wife we make about 100k+ which is far from poor. We just live about 3 miles from any major highway and all we have can get is DSL. Please think before you post stupid crap like that.

Your common sense doesn't belong here.

Another thing, how come every topic that somehow bashes Obama and/or the Democratic agenda (no matter how discrete you try to be, it's obvious) always sticks around then as soon as someone makes a copycat topic bashing Romney and/or the Republican agenda it gets modded immediately?

This is nothing more than a topic to provoke flaming, which according to this site is considered trolling, yet it stays. As soon as I say this game sucks because of lag I get modded for trolling. I guess insulting a video game is worse than insulting people and their lifestyle.
