You might hate to hear it
BUT
The more steady, tactical player always wins over the overly aggressive player.

It's why camping is popular and effective, and why rushers rage.

If a guy chooses to camp, so be it.
You can try to insult his gameplay, but he'll get the final laugh.

To be a great defender, you don't have to camp.
Actually, it's better that you don't.
Think like a rusher, without necessarily rushing.
Anticipate what he'll do, and do it before he does

Pace yourself to the match, don't try to set the pace of the match.

Those who are overly aggressive can win sometimes, but it eventually works against them.

It's kinda like chess
Defense > Offense

not true
the best think ahead then prepare
thinking and preparing ahead is defending, because nothing has yet occurred

the attacker loses, because he fails to see what his opponent's think
he just blindly goes forward

Lolno.
Why do you think peeps roll for attackers?Attackers dictate the pace and defenders are forced to respond.
Stick to be a semi pro at COD because my cat would beat you at chess.

You're assuming (incorrectly) that attackers always attack blindly.

Playing position aggressively > Rushing Blindly > Camping. Always. (with players of equal skill)

attackers don't dictate the pace, they fall for it
they try to force a situation, when it's just not being allowed at that time

Passive aggressor (Defender), Over Aggressor > Camping > Rushing Blindly

Defend doesn't mean camping
You can camp and defend, but to really succeed you have to move and defend
