The more steady, tactical player always wins over the overly aggressive player.
It's why camping is popular and effective, and why rushers rage.
If a guy chooses to camp, so be it.
You can try to insult his gameplay, but he'll get the final laugh.
To be a great defender, you don't have to camp.
Actually, it's better that you don't.
Think like a rusher, without necessarily rushing.
Anticipate what he'll do, and do it before he does
Pace yourself to the match, don't try to set the pace of the match.
Those who are overly aggressive can win sometimes, but it eventually works against them.
It's kinda like chess

Playing position aggressively > Rushing Blindly > Camping. Always. (with players of equal skill) Passive aggressor (Defender), Over Aggressor > Camping > Rushing Blindly Defend doesn't mean camping You can camp and defend, but to really succeed you have to move and defend |
