As you probably know, the default mapset of this game has been a source of considerable disappointment within this community. The most frequent criticisms have been that the maps are too small, are very linear, can't spawn people in safe areas outside of the fighting action, and excessively promote defensive playstyles (i.e. "headglitching"). However, many people continue to play BO2 in spite of these apparent frustrations.

How, if it all, has the current state of BO2 maps influenced your willingness to buy map packs for this game? If Treyarch were to produce maps in a style comparable to what we already have in BO2, would this please or displease you?

None of those. I will buy the maps because I like getting new maps. I enjoy the game, and I want even more. Your choices were incomplete because I don't think I need to check the quality of the maps. I just think that buying them individually is better since it is the same price either way. I would rather spread it out and pay $15 at a time than $60 at once.

Well, my parents got me the season pass for Christmas, so I'll be getting it with that. >_>

I'm inclined to say yes, but I have never enjoyed a Call of Duty DLC map pack ever. The maps are always worse than the original game, and in the case of Black Ops 2, I don't know if I can handle that.

Isn't it $10 cheaper to get the pass?

4 packs for $15 or all 4 at once for $50? Or is the pass not $50?

I'm probably going to go with the Season Pass since it's cheaper in the long run.

Probably not. I haven't even played the game in a while because it's more frustrating than fun. I think the default maps are pretty good, actually.

Treyarch claims that the Season Pass will offer a 10$ discount to buyers in the long run. See http://www.callofduty.com/blackops2/seasonpass for proof.

If it is $10 cheaper...that is fine. I still feel better paying individually. Maybe my house will burn down and I won't have an Xbox anymore...so it is better to ration it out.

If I like them from watching gameplay then yes, I'll get them. But it mainly depends if friends also buy it, no reason in spending the money if I don't get a chance to play them that often.
